Saltwater Battery Care

• Rinse the battery exterior with a damp fresh-water cloth after saltwater sessions, keeping water away from the connector
• Allow the battery to cool to ambient temperature before placing it on charge after a flight
• Store at partial charge (~50–60%) if not flying for more than 7 days
• Inspect for swelling, cracks or connector corrosion before every flight — retire and recycle any damaged battery safely
• Charge only with the dedicated SplashDrone 4+ charger — do not use a standard SplashDrone 4 or Fisherman series charger
