RETURN AND REFUND POLICY
Last updated: 31 August 2026
At Drone Fisher, we want you to be confident when purchasing from us. This policy explains our voluntary change-of-mind returns as well as your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot legally be excluded.
Australian Consumer Law
Products sold by Drone Fisher come with consumer guarantees that apply automatically where the Australian Consumer Law applies.
If a product is faulty, unsafe, not of acceptable quality, materially different from its description, or not fit for a purpose that was made known before purchase, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, refund or other remedy depending on the circumstances.
For a major problem, you may be entitled to choose between a replacement and a refund.
For a minor problem, we may choose to repair the product within a reasonable time. If the problem cannot be repaired within a reasonable time, additional remedies may apply.
Manufacturer warranties, voluntary warranties and our 30-day change-of-mind period are additional to your rights under Australian Consumer Law and do not replace them.
30-Day Change-of-Mind Returns
In addition to your statutory rights, Drone Fisher offers a 30-day change-of-mind return period.
You must contact us within 30 days of receiving the product.
To qualify for a change-of-mind return, the product must:
be unused and undamaged;
be complete and in resalable condition;
include supplied accessories, manuals and components; and
where reasonably possible, be returned in its original packaging.
Proof of purchase is required.
For an approved change-of-mind return, the customer is responsible for the cost and risk of returning the product unless we agree otherwise.
Original delivery charges are generally not refundable for change-of-mind returns unless required by law.
Products Excluded From Change-of-Mind Returns
We may decline change-of-mind returns for:
personalised or customised products;
opened hygiene-sensitive products;
gift cards;
products that cannot safely or reasonably be resold;
products damaged after delivery through misuse or improper handling; or
products clearly identified as final sale.
These exclusions apply only to voluntary change-of-mind returns. They do not affect your rights where a product is faulty, unsafe, incorrectly supplied or otherwise fails to meet a consumer guarantee.
Faulty, Damaged, Incorrect or Not-As-Described Products
Please contact us as soon as reasonably possible if:
your product arrives damaged;
the wrong product is supplied;
the product is faulty;
the product is unsafe;
the product is materially different from its description; or
you believe it does not comply with an applicable consumer guarantee.
Email [email protected] with your order number and a description of the problem.
Photos or video may help us assess the issue, but we will not impose unreasonable requirements that restrict your statutory rights.
Drone Fisher remains your point of contact for products purchased from us even where a product is dispatched directly by a supplier, distributor or fulfilment partner.
We will arrange an appropriate assessment, repair, replacement, refund or other remedy in accordance with applicable law.
If a product is confirmed to have a problem covered by Australian Consumer Law, we will reimburse reasonable return costs where required by law.
Where a faulty product is large, heavy or otherwise difficult to return, we will handle collection or return arrangements in accordance with our legal obligations.
Starting a Return
Before returning a product, email [email protected]
Please include your order number and the reason for your return.
If the return is approved, we will provide the correct return instructions and return destination by email.
Do not send a product directly to a supplier, distributor or other address unless we have instructed you to do so.
Sending a product to an unapproved destination may delay processing of the return.
Exchanges
Where a voluntary exchange is available, it is subject to product availability.
If a replacement is required as a remedy under Australian Consumer Law, your statutory rights apply independently of our voluntary exchange process.
Refunds
Once a refund is approved, we will process it to the original payment method unless another method is agreed with you or required by law.
Your bank, card issuer or payment provider may take additional time to make the funds available after we process the refund.
Order Cancellations
If you want to cancel an order before dispatch, contact us as soon as possible.
We will try to accommodate cancellation requests, but we cannot guarantee that an order can be cancelled once processing or fulfilment has commenced.
This does not affect any rights or remedies available under applicable law.
