SwellPro Fisherman FD1 Carrying Case

SwellPro Fisherman FD1 Carrying Case — Moulded EPP Protection for Your Fishing Drone

The genuine SwellPro Fisherman FD1 Carrying Case is a purpose-moulded EPP (expanded polypropylene) hard case designed specifically for the original SwellPro Fisherman FD1 waterproof fishing drone and its compatible accessories. With dedicated storage positions for the aircraft and key components, this case protects your FD1 from impact, compression and dust during transport to and from Australian fishing locations — whether you're driving to a remote beach, heading out on a charter boat, or packing gear for a camping trip.

Why a Purpose-Built Case for Your Fishing Drone?

Fishing drones represent a significant investment — and they're typically transported to some of Australia's most punishing environments: sandy beaches, rocky headlands, bouncy ute trays and crowded boat decks. A generic bag or box provides no protection against the specific pressure points and fragile components of a folded fishing drone. The dedicated FD1 case provides:

• Custom-moulded interior: Dedicated foam cavities position the FD1 airframe, propellers, battery and accessories in precise orientations — no movement, no rattling, no contact between fragile components during transit
• EPP foam shell: Expanded polypropylene is lightweight yet rigid, absorbing impacts from drops, shifting loads in vehicles and the general knocks of field use without transferring shock to the drone inside
• Dust and sand exclusion: The close-fitting lid seals the interior from beach sand, dust and loose grit that would otherwise work its way into motor gaps and electronic contacts in storage
• Organised storage: Accessories, charger leads and spare propellers stored in dedicated positions mean you'll never fumble for equipment at the water's edge — everything is where you left it

Specifications

Who Needs This Case?

• Regular travellers: If you drive your FD1 to the beach frequently, a moulded case protects against the vibration and shifting loads that degrade an unprotected drone over time
• Boat anglers: Boat decks are notoriously hard on gear — stray equipment slides, gets stepped on, and takes saltwater spray. A rigid case keeps the FD1 safe whether it's stowed under the gunwale or in the bow locker
• Remote and camping trips: When you're packing a ute or 4WD for a multi-day beach camping trip, having the FD1 in a solid case means it survives corrugated tracks and rough camping terrain without accumulated damage
• Storage: Even between sessions, the case protects the FD1 from dust, UV and accidental impacts in the garage or gear shed — extending the life of the aircraft's seals, electronics and finish

Compatibility — FD1 Only

This carrying case is designed exclusively for the original SwellPro Fisherman FD1 (2018–2020 model). It is not compatible with:

• SwellPro Fisherman FD3 — different size and fold configuration
• SwellPro Fisherman MAX (FD2) — significantly larger airframe requires a different case
• SwellPro SplashDrone 4 — different form factor

If you own an FD1+ or FD3, contact DroneFisher to discuss appropriate transport options for those models.
